I’ve Got Your Back

Hello everyone! I made a card this evening that I think is super cute.  It is a card for someone that you just want to say “I’ve Got Your Back.”

First I took the Lawn Fawn Stitched Cloud dies and die cut them out of white card stock.  I believe it is Neenah Solar White 80#.  Then I took the Stitched Hillside  dies and die cut out a green hill and a gray hill.  I didn’t want the animals to blend into the paper too much, so I tried to make them opposite of the animals.

I colored the sky with Broken China and Tumbled Glass. I blended them together until they were a little smooth.  I also used Twisted Citron on the ground portion. Just enough that it showed above the grass hill.

The stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp and it is called Stacking Animals.  I stamped them out using the Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink, and used Copic Markers to color them in.  I fussy cut them out.  I actually made two of these cards, but one alligator has three legs instead of four.  I got a little crazy, oopsie!

The top cloud and the gray hill are on foam tape. Half of the elephant is on foam tape as well.  A great card for encouragement to a friend

I hope you enjoy this card!

Stamp of Approval

Hello everyone!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Today I made a card using the Stamp of Approval stamp collection that Catherine Pooler and her team curated.  I have to say, this is my first collection from Stamp of Approval/StampNation and I am super happy.

The collection comes out every quarter and contains new stamps that are not available, or stamps that are just made for Stamp of Approval.  If you get the chance you should stop around StampNation and look around.  It is a pretty good group to belong to, and the ladies there are super sweet.

Anyway this is the card I made this evening with her curated stamp collection.

The background is a stencil called Harleen by Winnie & Walter.  I used distressed inks to create the background.  The stamps are directly from the Stamp of Approval collection.  The black tape along the bottom is glittery and adds just a little sparkle to the card.  The paper frame is just some sturdy purple card stock I got form Michael’s.

I hope you enjoy it! See ya soon!

Thinking of You

On today’s card I used the kit that came from My Favorite Things.  I used some different inks to stamp out a bunch of flowers, and then I used the matching stamp dies to help me get them cut exactly the way I wanted.

I also used the die to cut out the case as well.  As you can see my sentiment is a bit uneven but I think the card still looks very nice.  I added a few sequins to the card to dress it up a little bit.  I placed it on some green card stock from My Favorite Things and then also used one of their sheets out of the card stock package they sent.

I love the blues, it reminds me of my mother. It makes me happy, even with a little bit of uneven stamping.

Enjoy and hope you had a great evening!
