Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge #92

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for this week’s challenge over at Stamp, Ink, Paper!

These colors are almost non-existent in my stash of crafting supplies.  Thanks to Andrea for pointing out that I did have a 6×6 paper pad that had most of the colors in it.

Here are the challenge colors:

And here is my card:

The stamp set is from the Unity Stamp Company.  They have some pretty good stamps over there and they are worth checking out.  They usually have some pretty good deals often.

I did a paper piecing project.  I stamped the image on two different types of pattern paper and cut the shirt and the skirt out.

I used Copic markers to color in the skin and belt.  I then fussy cut the image out.  She is propped up on the card with some 3D foam tape.  The background was a simple water colored wash that I did.

I then stamped the sentiment on top of that.

I hope you enjoy this weeks card and I can’t wait to see what you make this week!

Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge #91

Happy Birthday Andrea! I am sure there will be plenty of cards made for your birthday bash!

I am going on my third week of being unemployed.  Wow, it is hard to believe I was laid off from my job.  It has never happened to me before I was totally shell shocked.  I am able to discuss it and move forward now, but the uncertainty can be scary!

Anyway,  here is my card for this week!

On this card I used the MFT Modern Blooms set and stamped the background.  I then used a wonky rectangle die form MFT to cut the card base out.  I then used a Tim Holtz die to cut out Happy Birthday and the butterfly is from a Memory Box die. I then popped all that onto some fun foam and adhered it to an eggplant colored card stock.  Then butterfly is also that color.

I hope you have enjoyed this weeks card and I hope you have a great week!

Stamp, Ink, Paper #90 Shaker Card

Hello everyone!  Thanks for playing along with this weeks challenge over at Stamp, Ink, Paper!

This weeks challenge is SHAKER CARDS!  I am starting to become experienced in these, but I am still learning.

Below is my card.  I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Happy Wedding.  I used Copic Markers to do all the coloring.  This is actually for a friend’s wedding coming up soon! I hope he doesn’t read this blog.  Sorry if so! I can’t say this design is my own, I saw a sample over at Pinterest and loved it.  I just used different colors and a different background stamp style.

I hope you enjoy this weeks challenge and can’t wait to see what you create!

Have a great week!

Ricky
