About Ricky

My name is Ricky Burton-Romero.  I am a newbie to the crafting world.  Recently, I started collecting stamps, dies and inks so I can start my own tiny card making business.  We shall see where that goes. Even if I make no money from it, I still enjoy making them.

I am married to a wonderful man and have two lovely rescue dogs in Chicago.  They are both pit bull mix dogs. Their names are Ivy and Izel

I hope that we can all get to know one another and make some creative things together! Please say hello by contacting me!

I am open to collaborations with other artist or retailers that would like me to feature their products on my YouTube Channel.

  1. Hello Ricky! I am friends with Justin on the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge blog. I wanted to say hello because I love some of your work and the card you just won with is stunning. Although I am American, from Long Island, I live in the countryside of Brasil with my partner. We also have a beautiful (but spoiled) pit – along with 5 other dogs.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself!! Hope to see more your great stuff on the blog!

    1. Hi Michael! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look around. I have been having fun making cards for almost year now! Thank you for your kind words! Wow, Brazil! That sounds fun! At least I hope it is for you! I love my two baby girls so much! I would have 10 dogs if my condo would allow it!

Thanks for introducing yourself and I hope we I can start blogging a bit more. I am still working on the looks of the blog! I am not an expert at this for sure! Have a great day!

  2. Congrats on being the guest designer for October over at Stamp, Ink, Paper! I am also a newbie and started making cards at almost the same time as you! I hope you have tons of fun as a challenge designer and I hope you have good luck with your card business!

  3. I randomly came across your Instagram when I was monkeying around looking at Chicago/Rogers Park people. And holy cats! I’m a card-maker as well, who lives and loves in Rogers Park, and was stoked to see your stuff. I’m watching your videos on YouTube as time allows. You are so talented. I wish you the best of luck in all of your creative adventures. If you seek a wintertime crafty buddy, I’m down!
